GUI & ALLI
We first met in Redding, California during our time at Bethel Supernatural School of Ministry. Back then, we were just two young hearts saying yes to Jesus, willing to serve wherever He sent us. At the time, we were simply friends chasing after the same things: the presence of God, the nations, and the beauty of the gospel. We didn’t start dating until a year and a half later, yet even then it felt like our hearts had been running in the same direction all along.
From the beginning, our connection was built on a shared passion for worship, people, songwriting, and a deep longing to see Jesus truly known, not just talked about but encountered. We carried the same dream in our hearts: to see people awakened, families restored, and the Kingdom of God established here on earth.
After Gui finished his third year of ministry school, we got married and shortly after moved to Portugal, another yes in our journey. Portugal is a place God clearly called us to, and for that reason it will always carry a home in our hearts.
We are passionate about family, not only our own but the family of God. We believe in living lives that are authentic, rooted, and surrendered. We love to create, to write songs, to share meals and conversations, and to worship with people in a way that makes space for God to move. Gui brings a touch of Portuguese joy and his love for soccer, while Alli brings creativity and storytelling, capturing beauty through vlogging and social media. Together, we feel called to help people truly see Jesus, not just know about Him but encounter Him. Our marriage is part of that story. Our life is part of that story. And we are only at the beginning of it.

Gui is Portuguese American and has always had a burning heart for Portugal. Alli, during their engagement, started getting a heart for Portugal and what the Lord wanted to do there too. The Lord called them soon after marriage to move and to start living there as missionaries, as well as serving at a local church. There is a lot of pioneering to do here and many projects on their hearts for this nation.

The USA remains on their hearts and they know the Lord has a bridge between Europe and the States for what the Lord wants to do in and through their lives. They don’t know yet what that means in terms of living, but it will always be a place they are connected to and go back to.

As the Lord was speaking to us about this non-profit, He gave us this name and put on our hearts to build Altars for Him. Now we know what that means as He has led us to places to help facilitate the process of cleaning off Altars for the Lord that have been stuck in impurity or in distraction.

Currently we are serving at Zion in Lisbon, Portugal. We both serve in leading the worship there alongside another woman as well as in the leadership of the church.
